TRENDSETTER® SUPER TERMINAL ILLNESS ACCELERATED DEATH BENEFIT RIDER

We’re happy to let you know that the Transamerica Terminal Illness Accelerated Death Benefit Rider is available in California on Trendsetter Super Term Life policies.

This no-cost rider is included in the policy. It allows access to a portion of the life insurance benefits after a terminal illness diagnosis, if certain conditions are met.

More Information:

• Any new policies sold will include the Terminal Illness Accelerated Death Benefit Rider.
• All existing California policies will have the rider added as part of their policy.
• Policyholders will receive a letter including the rider pages as part of two mailings. Half of the policyholders will be notified beginning February 5, 2021, and the second half will be notified starting March 5, 2021.
