eDelivery Available for Principal® Income Protector Policies

We’re excited to let you know that beginning April 28, eDelivery will be used for Income Protector policies when the owner and insured are the same.* 

After underwriting approval, the policy will be sent to the field office contact (FOC) to review and approve. Following FOC approval, the client will be notified to digitally review and sign to complete the process.

eDelivery offers several benefits for you and your clients, including:

• More convenient. After your review, we’ll facilitate the rest of the delivery process for you.
• More efficient. Delivery documents are complete and in good order.
• Faster coverage. Policy is placed in force with shorter turnaround time.
• Consistency between DI and Life. The process will be similar to eDelivery for Term life insurance.
