Suspension of New Universal Life Insurance Sales Effective November 1, 2025

Security Mutual Life will suspend universal life insurance policy sales effective November 1, 2025. The Company made this decision after a review of the competitive landscape, an evaluation of market opportunities, and an assessment of new regulatory developments.

Key Dates for Customized FlexUL, Customized FlexUL Unisex and Survivorship UL:
October 31, 2025 – New applications must be received by the Company.
November 1, 2025 – Company to return all applications received on or after this date.
December 31, 2025 – Final date to place pending cases in force.
January 1, 2026 – All pending cases will close.
All dates include new business and conversions.

The Company will continue to evaluate new product development opportunities and pursue those that strategically support our policyholders and distributors.
