Update to eApp System – For Arkansas and Kansas Agents
We wanted to communicate two short-term changes concerning the Final Expense products in Arkansas and Kansas. We’re in the process of improving our eApp system and making some updates to our existing products which will require a short transition period while we move everything into place. Again, these changes only affect Arkansas and Kansas.
Change to eApp
During the transition period, our Final Expense products will be temporarily unavailable in eApp starting on December 29, 2021. However, you will still be able to submit a paper application for the Express Issue Deluxe and Express Issue Premier products after this date.
Change to Modified Death Benefit Whole Life (“MDBWL”) Product
The MDBWL product will only be available for issue in Arkansas and Kansas through December 29, 2021. We are requesting any applications for this product be submitted to the home office no later than December 17, 2021. This should allow sufficient time for your client to complete the Personal History Interview and to have the underwriting process finished by December 29. Unfortunately, any MDBWL cases that do not have underwriting completed by December 29 will have to be filed as Not Taken. Encourage your clients to complete the Personal History Interview during your meeting to help avoid delays.
After this transition is complete, the Express Issue Whole Life product will be available for use in place of the MDBWL. We will notify you immediately once it becomes available.
