Using Client Correspondence and Doc Locker

To protect customer information, we’re including signed policy packets in Doc Locker and Client Correspondence later this month to avoid sending via email in the future. The Part B draft copy will also be published to Client Correspondence (as long as we have a passing detail code at submission).

Financial professionals with principal.com credentials (or staff with delegate access) will be able to search and access Part B draft copies and signed policy documents for the policies they’re associated with using Client Correspondence. On the Client Correspondence page, select the correspondence type of “Policy Document”, then select the appropriate sub-type, i.e., “All Categories/Part B Draft Copy/Signed Policy Document”, to search the documents.

For now, signed policy packets and Part B draft copies will continue to be emailed, but in the upcoming months they’ll only be accessible through Doc Locker and Client Correspondence.
