End of Year Business Submission Dates/Guidelines

Important year-end details for Annuity business submission

Year end is approaching. To help get your 2020 business processed, here are some important dates and reminders to expedite and ensure credit for year-end.

• Dec. 18 – You are guaranteed to receive credit for all fixed and income applications which are in good order and with money submitted by this date. We will work diligently to have all business received through Dec. 31 on the books by year-end but cannot guarantee this for any business received after Dec. 18.
• Dec. 30 – You are guaranteed to receive credit for all variable applications which are in good order and with money submitted by this date.

Below are statement days by product:

• Dec. 30 – This is the last day variable and income annuity business can be put in force to count for the year-end statement period.
• Dec. 31 – This is the last day fixed annuity business can be put in force to count for the year-end statement period.

Financial requests received and in good order by Dec 20^th will be guaranteed to be processed by year end and reflected in 2020 tax records if applicable.

Year-end holiday Contact Center hours of operation

• Nov. 25 – normal hours (7 a.m. – 6 p.m.)

• Nov. 26 – closed for Thanksgiving holiday
• Nov. 27 – open 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. CST

• Dec. 24 – open 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. CST
• Dec. 25 – closed for Christmas holiday
• Dec. 31 – closing at 5:00 p.m. CST
• Jan. 1 – closed for New Year’s holiday

Exchanges – approximately 20 days

We are currently receiving funds in approximately 20 days when requesting funds from another financial organization. We will do everything we can to secure the funds coming from another carrier in a timely manner but cannot guarantee when those funds will arrive in our home office to count for year-end 2020.
