May 1st kicks off Disability Insurance Awareness Month (DIAM)! DIAM is a great opportunity to promote the many benefits of disability insurance. We encourage you to use DIAM as a chance to have a critical conversation with clients, because many people don’t think of their income as their most important asset. It can be helpful to remind them that they can’t pay the mortgage, afford medical bills, or buy groceries without it.
