Year-end processing deadlines and holiday closures:
| Wednesday, December 21 | Producers submitting business must be properly licensed, fully contracted and appointed with Athene for business to be processed prior to year-end. This includes the completion of all required compliance training. |
| Wednesday, December 21 | New business will be issued prior to year-end if the following items are received in good order: Annuity applications with cash Outstanding requirements for applications with cash Transfer/1035 funds Additional payments for flexible premium contracts must be received to be applied in 2021. New business or additional payments for flexible premium contracts received after December 20 will be processed in the order received and may not be processed prior to year-end. |

Holiday commission payment schedule:
| Thursday, December 22 | Commissions for business issued on December 22 will be released from Athene on December 27. Depending on your bank, funds may be available in your account on December 28. |
| Friday, December 30 | Last commission cycle for 2022. This commission will be reflected on the 2022 1099. Commission ACH and check minimums will be dropped to $0 to pay out all pending commission balances for 2022. Commission for all business issued and paid on December 30 will be released from Athene on January 3. Depending on your bank, funds may be available in your account on January 4. Please note: Commission minimums will return to $50 for ACH and $600 for checks starting January 1, 2023. |
