May is Disability Insurance Awareness Month

Welcome to the first week of Disability Insurance Awareness Month.

This week we want to promote a very simple concept – DI Building Blocks. We want clients to understand Disability Insurance and feel comfortable with their decisions, as they often do with Life Insurance.  This sales concept is designed to help you and your clients better understand what Disability Insurance does, how the product works and assist them in assessing the type and amount of coverage that they need.

Use this sales primer to plan your campaign.

We have many client approved fliers that highlight different aspects of our disability insurance policy. A few that I often use are:

• Choosing the Right Policy.
• Built-In DI Policy Features.
• Definitions of Disability.

We also have separate fliers for each of the optional benefit riders that highlight how they work and provide examples of how benefits may be paid. Be sure to check them out before meeting with your clients.
