PLI Desktop to be Retired 01/01/2024
Prudential has made the decision to retire the Desktop version of Pru Life Illustrator (PLI) effective January 1, 2024. The Online version of PLI will continue to be available to illustrate all of Prudential’s Individual Life products and is accessible through PruXpress.
- Our discontinuance of Desktop PLI will allow us to use our development resources to provide M Financial Firms with innovative illustration capabilities that will help drive business.
- Please note this decision does not change your ability to use other systems to illustrate and quote Prudential Life products, such as Winflex and the numerous quoting sites.
- To assist you in moving your saved cases from Desktop PLI to Online PLI, we’ve outlined a few steps in these instructions. These instructions will let you move all of your saved cases from Desktop PLI to Online PLI in only minutes. Once your cases have been moved to Online PLI they will appear in “Case Management” and be available for use just as they were in Desktop PLI. Please note that the user interface for Desktop PLI and Online PLI are identical, so learning to use Online PLI takes no time.
- To avoid any disruption to your case work as year-end begins, we encourage you to move your saved cases from Desktop PLI to Online PLI well in advance of January 1, 2024. Please note that any saved cases not moved to Online PLI by this date will be lost and no longer accessible.
If you have questions about moving your cases to Online PLI, please contact the Help Desk or email us at: illustrations.feedback@prudential.com.
