Enhanced E-signature Process for Disability Insurance Activation Effective 07/28/21
Beginning July 28th, Century+ Disability Income Insurance policies without a prior checking/savings account withdrawal authorization (PAC Form) or initial premium draft can qualify for eRequirements. The PAC form can now be completed as a part of our eRequirements process.
We also enhanced security to better protect you and your clients – now, all signers will complete an ID Check to verify their identities before accessing or signing any DocuSign forms. After answering a few personal questions, the signing process will proceed as usual.
Qualifying policies* must:
- Be for an eligible product: Century+ Disability Income Insurance
- Include email addresses (and verifying info) for all signers
- Be issued in an approved state (not ME, NM, NY, WV)
As a reminder, the required form(s) are sent to the email address provided on your client’s application. The forms can be reviewed, accepted and signed via DocuSign, and are automatically returned to Assurity. We’ll activate the policy within a few days, and a physical copy will be sent following regular mailing preferences.
As always, your client can request the policy be mailed for a physical signature if they do not wish to proceed electronically.
Get policies in force and into your clients’ hands quickly and easily with enhanced eRequirements.
