Electronic Applications Now Required for New FIA Business Effective 03/31/2025

Global Atlantic is committed to being a leader in the modernization of the annuity industry to improve efficiency, enhance financial professional and customer experiences, and drive overall growth.

As part of our commitment, effective Monday, March 31, 2025, we require Fixed Index Annuities (FIA) business to be submitted via electronic application (eApplication). We realize certain types of FIA applications cannot be submitted via an eApplication; Global Atlantic will continue to allow these, as we have in the past.

Also, if you have clients who prefer to sign a paper application, see these step- by-step instructions on how to upload wet signed documents via SnapApp. If you are using your firm’s order entry platform, please check with your firm for more information.

What this means to you

If you’re already submitting FIA applications electronically:
Thank you! Simply continue to submit future applications as you’re doing today.

If you’re submitting FIA applications via paper:
You’ll now submit FIA business either using your firm’s eApplication tool or Global Atlantic’s tool, SnapApp, if your firm has approved its use. You can access SnapApp from the Manage my Business section of our website. Register or log in at professionals.globalatlantic.com.

Additional helpful information about using SnapApp can also be found on our website.

A note regarding NIGOs:
Paper FIA applications will be deemed Not in Good Order (NIGO). An email will be sent to indicate that an eApplication will be required.

As always, thank you for your continued partnership with Global Atlantic.
